Is there a lake view?
Yes there is, from our fields and, especially, from "The Pülpit" (what is it? Find it out) it is possible to see the lake.
How far is Cascina La Scala from the center of Salò and the beach?
The center and the beach are 4 Km (5 minutes by car) far from the house.
We do not recommend walking to the center and the beach, as our house is located on a hill.
Are there any supermarkets nearby?
Yes there are, the Carrefour supermarket is 1.5 km far from the house (2 minutes by car).
Is there on-site parking?
Yes there is. Each apartment has an uncovered private parking space (one car only).
Each parking space is marked with a number:
1 - Apartment Ippocatano;
2 - Apartment Le fontane;
3 - Apartment Il pozzo.
Other cars can be parked in another place on the property that will be indicated by the host.
Is there a bar and breakfast service?
No there isn't, our type of business can not provide either breakfast or bar service.
Do the staff speak English?
Usually it is Maria Eugenia who welcomes guests, she does not speak English (only Italian), but generally it has never been a problem for our guests. In the apartments you will find brochures that we have written with a lot of information.
Ours is a family business and we do our best to offer our guests everything they need to spend a nice holiday on Lake Garda.
What do you provide in the kitchen?
The kitchens are equipped with pots, utensils, crockery, plates, glasses and cutlery.
What does the supplied linen consist of?
The linen provided consists of bed sheets with pillowcases, blankets and bedspreads (duvet for the cold months).
In the kitchen you will find a kitchen towel and a tablecloth.
Each guest will have a set of towels available: a shower towel, a face towel and a bidet towel (beach towels are not provided - it is strictly forbidden to use the towels provided by us on the beach and / or in the garden).
Is there a security deposit to be paid?
Yes there is, for direct bookings, ie those made through our site, a security deposit of 100.00 euros is required and is paid in cash at check-in. Those who book through other sites must abide by the specific conditions indicated on the website from which the reservation is made.
During check-out, if there is no damage, it is returned.
When do I pay?
If you book through our site, you must pay a deposit* with bank transfer to book an apartment, then pay the remaining amount by 4 days before the day of arrival (bank transfer). You'll pay in cash only the security deposit (fully refoundable after inspection of the apartment) and the tourist tax.
*equal to 30% of the price of the apartment, excluding tourist tax and security deposit.
Do you accept payments by credit card or debit card?
No we don't. Our type of business, which is not entrepreneurial, is not subject to the obligation to accept payments by electronic money.
Where occur the delivery of the keys of the apartments?
Our family (get to know us) lives in an apartment of the structure, so the keys will be delivered directly on site during check-in
Why do I have to pay the tourist tax?
The tourist tax is imposed on the people who stay in accommodation facilities of territories classified as a tourist resort or city of art.
Our business is registered in the list of accommodations in the province of Brescia and, in the same way like other types of accomodations, such as hotels, Bed and Breakfast, Farms holidays and so on, is obliged to report attendance of guests at the police station and it is obliged to request guests the payment of the tourist tax.
I want to book an apartment through booking.com, but the names of the apartments are different. Can you help me?
